npx skills add LNGU/openclaw-skill-freeUnlimited-websearch --skill freeunlimited-websearch -a claude-codeWhat freeUnlimited-websearch does
This skill passes search queries to DuckDuckGo through an internal script named search.py. Each lookup outputs a JSON array containing title, href, and body fields for every found result.
Execution depends on Python 3.8 or newer and the ddgs package. If ddgs is missing from the target Python environment, the search script fails immediately.
What it helps with
- search the web without registering for paid search API keys
- retrieve search results formatted as structured JSON records
- query current web data without hitting rate limits or quotas
Example prompts for the agent
- Search the web for the latest Python release notes.
- Find documentation for the ddgs package on DuckDuckGo.
- Look up recent framework updates and summarize the references.
