footballbin-predictions — Claude Code skill for match forecasts
Fetch FootballBin forecasts for Premier League and Champions League fixtures, including projected scores, the next scorer, corner counts, and form-based notes on key players.
npx claude-code-templates@latest --skill sports/footballbin-predictionsWhat footballbin-predictions does
This skill retrieves football match forecasts from the FootballBin MCP API for Premier League and Champions League fixtures. Each result covers the predicted half-time and full-time score, the team and player expected to score next, and the projected number of corners. It also provides key-player details with reasoning tied to recent form.
Use scripts/footballbin.sh to retrieve the current matchweek or request a particular round. The --home and --away options narrow results by team, while league aliases such as epl and ucl are accepted. Run the tools command to inspect the API's available tools.
The script requires curl and jq. Requests go to a public API endpoint, so no API key is needed, although request frequency is limited. The skill only reads prediction data and does not store user data.
What it helps with
- Retrieve current-round Premier League forecasts
- Check predicted scores for Champions League fixtures
- Filter match results by home or away team
- Review the expected next scorer and corner totals
- Inspect the tools exposed by the FootballBin API
