flowdriver-covert-transport — Claude Code skill
Routes SOCKS5 traffic through Google Drive API calls so it survives DPI and SNI filtering. Useful on networks where a normal proxy gets blocked.
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill flowdriver-covert-transport -a claude-codeWhat flowdriver-covert-transport does
The skill documents FlowDriver. A client binds a local SOCKS5 port, packs TCP requests into a binary format and pushes them into a shared Drive folder. On the other side a server polls that folder, pulls the request files down, makes real TCP connections and writes the answers back as files. From outside it reads as ordinary googleapis.com API traffic.
You need Go 1.25+, a Google Cloud project with the Drive API turned on, and credentials.json from an OAuth2 Desktop App client. Publish the app in the OAuth consent screen, or tokens expire every 7 days while it sits in Testing mode. Authentication happens once on your local machine; after that you copy .token and credentials.json to the server with scp.
The google_folder_id value has to be identical in both configs. Leave it blank on the first run and FlowDriver creates a “Flow-Data” folder, then writes the ID back into the config. The server starts without a browser as long as .token is already there.
What it helps with
- get traffic through a network that inspects packets
- run a SOCKS5 proxy without owning a VPS
- make connections look like Google API calls
- link a local app to a remote server through a shared Drive folder
- verify the proxy with a
curlrequest
Example prompts for the agent
- Set up FlowDriver: build the client and server from the repo and start SOCKS5 on
127.0.0.1:1080 - Check the tunnel with
curl --socks5 127.0.0.1:1080 https://example.com - Deploy the FlowDriver server on a remote machine and copy
credentials.jsonand.tokenthere

Questions about flowdriver-covert-transport
How do I install flowdriver-covert-transport in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill flowdriver-covert-transport -a claude-code. The skill lands at ~/.claude/skills/flowdriver-covert-transport/SKILL.md.
What does flowdriver-covert-transport do?
It walks through deploying FlowDriver, which tunnels SOCKS5 traffic inside Google Drive API requests. SNI-based and DPI filtering does not see the real destination.
What do I need before running FlowDriver?
Go 1.25+, a Google Cloud project with Drive API enabled, and credentials.json for an OAuth2 Desktop App. Publish the app, otherwise tokens expire every 7 days.
