comic-panel-generation — Claude Code skill: comic and manga art
This skill draws comic panels, strips, manga pages and webtoons through each::sense, and can restyle a photo into comic art.
npx skills add eachlabs/skills --skill comic-panel-generation -a claude-codeWhat comic-panel-generation does
Each request is a POST to https://eachsense-agent.core.eachlabs.run/v1/chat/completions with the model set to eachsense/beta and mode set to max. Your scene description goes into messages, and the reply streams back, which is why the call asks for Accept: text/event-stream. An EACHLABS_API_KEY has to be present in the environment; the request fails without it.
The skill lists sizes for different jobs: a square 1:1 panel, a 16:9 wide shot, a 9:16 tall one, a 3:1 horizontal strip, a 2:3 manga page and a vertical webtoon at 1:3 or taller. Separate recipes cover superhero art, manga layouts that read right to left, speech and thought bubbles, and action beats with motion effects. Keeping a character recognisable across panels comes down to repeating the same appearance details in every prompt.
Turning a photo into comic art uses the image_urls array, where the example passes a portrait link. Install commands differ per tool — Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode each get their own.
What it helps with
- generate a single comic panel from a scene description
- build a four-panel horizontal strip
- lay out a manga page with mixed panel sizes and right-to-left reading
- restyle a photograph as graphic-novel art
- produce a vertical webtoon segment for mobile scrolling
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a single panel: a superhero landing on a rooftop at night, cape billowing, city lights behind
- Convert this photo into comic book style with bold outlines and halftone shading
