colosseum-copilot — Claude Code skill: Colosseum project research
Wires your agent into Colosseum's project evidence and hackathon material, so it can compare precedents and review your draft submission.
npx skills add ColosseumOrg/colosseum-copilot --skill colosseum-copilot -a claude-codeWhat colosseum-copilot does
The skill calls Colosseum's API and hands the agent project histories, archived submissions and a hackathon tool hub. Project search orders results by similarity to what is already on record, and can be limited to winners. Counting works through a single analyze call with category dimensions rather than a loop.
Any agent that reads skills and can make authorized HTTPS requests will run it; some capabilities vary by client. Personal data sits behind GET /me — private drafts and submission fields — so the skill asks for it only when your own work is the topic. Project text and teammates' notes are treated as material, not as orders for the agent.
Paid Frames research is the fallback when free sources leave a hole in the answer, and it bills the user's credits after approval. On submissions the skill deliberately withholds paste-ready text and returns questions and an outline instead, because judges read that field as the team's own words.
What it helps with
- find comparable projects from earlier hackathons
- check whether someone already built this product
- pick tools for a build from the hackathon directory
- get a critique of a draft submission and the team setup
- settle questions about a Colosseum program
Example prompts for the agent
- Find winning projects in the payments category and tell me what they share
- I'm drafting a hackathon submission — ask me questions about it and flag the gaps
- Which tools from the hackathon directory fit an onchain game?

Questions about colosseum-copilot
How do I install colosseum-copilot in Claude Code?

What does colosseum-copilot do?
It searches Colosseum's project evidence for precedents and competitors, answers hackathon and program questions, suggests tools and reviews your own drafts and submissions.
Do I need a Colosseum account?
Only for questions about your own projects, drafts or team, since the skill reads those through GET /me. Without authorized API access that part returns nothing.
