What cli-anything-zoom does

The skill hands your agent a working Zoom CLI called cli-anything-zoom. Meetings get created and edited from the shell, participants are registered one at a time or in bulk from a CSV, and cloud recordings can be listed or downloaded. Commands come in groups: auth, meeting, participant, recording. Login runs an OAuth2 browser flow, and the tokens stay on disk after login.

Install is one package: pip install cli-anything-zoom. You need Python 3.10+ and zoom already on the machine — without them nothing runs. Worth checking that before you hand the agent a task.

Pass --json and the output turns structured, with a non-zero return code meaning failure. Run it with no subcommand and you land in a REPL with undo and redo over the session history. Project state lives in a JSON file, so you can stop halfway and pick it up later.

What it helps with

  • create a Zoom meeting while staying in the editor
  • bulk-register attendees from a CSV file
  • download the cloud recording files for a finished meeting
  • check which participants actually attended
  • cancel one person's registration before the call

Example prompts for the agent

  • use cli-anything-zoom to create a Zoom meeting for tomorrow and give me the join link
  • export the registered participants to a CSV with cli-anything-zoom
  • pull the recordings for the last meeting with cli-anything-zoom into the project folder
