What Content Research Writer does

The skill organizes writing into structured formats, covering blog posts, long-form articles, how-to guides, and listicles. Before drafting, the agent can create a research brief with statistics, expert quotes, and competitor content analysis. It also provides an SEO checklist with target keyword densities between 1 and 2%.

Document export relies on the office-mcp server using the create_docx and md_to_docx tools. The metadata lists English and Chinese language support, recommending claude-sonnet-4 and claude-opus-4 models. Converting drafts directly into Word files will fail if office-mcp is not configured in your agent environment.

Content can be styled across five tone options: professional, conversational, educational, persuasive, or playful.

What it helps with

  • compile research briefs with data and competitor analysis
  • draft structured long-form articles and how-to guides
  • apply SEO formatting checklists to written drafts
  • export markdown drafts to DOCX files via MCP

Example prompts for the agent

  • Research artificial intelligence trends for a blog post
  • Create a 1500-word article on database indexing for beginners
  • Draft a how-to guide with an educational tone and export it
