What summarize_git_changes does

The prompt asks the model to identify the main changes and upgrades in the text it receives. It formats them under a CHANGES heading, with bullets that contain exactly 10 words, plus a 20-word opening sentence about the past 7 days. The tone should sound enthusiastic.

The output is readable Markdown, with links formatted as HTML. The prompt works from supplied material; it contains no instructions for reading Git history. Give it the updates you want summarized.

For Claude Code, place the command file at .claude/commands/summarize_git_changes.md. In Fabric, run fabric --pattern summarize_git_changes. Check the word counts in the result, since the requested format is exact.
