agility_story — Fabric prompt: what it does, how to install
Generates an Agile user story and acceptance criteria from a given topic. Returns structured output directly in JSON.
.claude/commands/agility_story.mdWhat agility_story does
This prompt turns any feature concept or topic into a structured Agile story. It writes a user statement in the classic "As a user..." format alongside Given-When-Then acceptance criteria.
The response comes strictly as a JSON object containing Topic, Story, and Criteria keys. That makes it easy to pipe output directly into downstream scripts or task tracking tools.
Because the schema enforces a single string for criteria, complex user flows will need manual expansion or secondary prompting.
What it helps with
- write a user story from a brief feature topic
- draft acceptance criteria using Given-When-Then syntax
- format backlog tasks directly as JSON objects
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate a user story for password reset via magic link
