What ruby-lsp does

The plugin brings Shopify's Ruby language server into Claude Code. It provides code analysis and syntax intelligence while working in Ruby codebases. Supported file extensions include .rb, .rake, .gemspec, .ru, and .erb.

It requires Ruby 3.0 or later. The server will not start without the gem installed in your environment. You can install it directly with gem install ruby-lsp or add gem 'ruby-lsp', group: :development to your Gemfile and run bundle install.
