What radius does

This extension equips GitHub Copilot with application-modeling tools powered by Radius. It bundles five skills. They generate .radius/app.bicep files, build application graphs, configure AWS or Azure environments with OIDC trust, and manage releases through GitHub Actions.

Instead of reading status updates in chat, you inspect steps in Radius Canvas. This panel renders service connections right in the sidebar. Activating the skills requires restarting your Copilot session right after installation.

What it helps with

  • generate a .radius/app.bicep manifest from repository contents
  • inspect and diff application graphs inside an interactive canvas
  • configure deployment environments and verify OIDC trust for AWS or Azure
  • trigger application deployment or resource cleanup via GitHub Actions

Example prompts for the agent

  • generate an app.bicep for this repo
  • show me the application graph
  • set up cloud credentials for Azure and deploy my app

Once installed, ask Copilot naturally:

```text
generate an app.bicep for this repo
show me the application graph
set up cloud credentials for Azure
deploy my app
