This plugin connects Claude Code to a remote MCP endpoint at https://mcp.hostinger.com. Local runtimes stay out of the picture: you do not need Node.js or background servers. Through this connection, Claude interacts with domains, databases, and VPS infrastructure. It includes seven built-in hosting skills covering tasks from troubleshoot-website to audit-hosting.
Shipping projects requires an agent equipped with shell access. The remote MCP instance cannot inspect local files. Because of that, Claude fetches an upload target and executes curl over the TUS protocol to transfer the archive. Without shell permissions, deployment fails. Other operations, such as editing DNS records or checking server metrics, work without terminal execution.
Authentication uses a browser-based OAuth flow on initial setup. When a browser session is not practical, supply a HOSTINGER_API_TOKEN environment variable from your hPanel settings.
