What notion-memory does

The notion-memory skill maintains a “Claude Memory” page in your Notion workspace, with sections for your profile, projects, decision log, session archive, and quick facts. It records preferences and project details, stores decisions with their reasoning and dates, and archives session summaries. You can ask it to forget saved information.

The plugin installs five skills together. The other four turn conversations into structured documents, prepare meeting materials, search your workspace and write research reports, or convert specs into tasks Claude Code can implement. A Notion connector is required, configured through MCP in Claude Code or Cowork settings. Without that connection, the plugin cannot use your workspace.

What it helps with

  • carry project preferences into later sessions
  • record decisions with dates and reasoning
  • archive session summaries in Notion
  • turn a spec into tasks for Claude Code
  • prepare a meeting agenda and save it to Notion

Example prompts for the agent

  • Remember that I prefer dark mode for this project.
  • Save a summary of what we worked on today in Notion.
  • Turn this project spec into tasks in Notion for Claude Code.
