One install brings three pieces: Notion skills from the Notion Cookbook, the Notion MCP server, and a set of slash commands. The skills tell Claude how to behave inside a workspace — structuring notes, handling meetings, writing up research, turning a spec into implementation. The MCP server supplies the tools: search the workspace, read pages and databases, create and update pages, append blocks, insert database rows.
Commands cover the everyday moves. /Notion:search scans the whole workspace, /Notion:create-page makes a page under a parent, /Notion:database-query hits a database by name or ID, /Notion:create-task and /Notion:create-database-row write into databases. A separate /Notion:tasks:* group builds a task board: setup, build and plan from a page URL, plus explain-diff for writing up code changes.
Auth runs over OAuth, so there is no token to paste by hand. Restart Claude after installing — skip that and the MCP server will not come up, which is the usual first-time snag.

How do I install notion in Claude?
