This plugin connects Claude to the Shopify theme language server through the Shopify CLI. Once it is in place, the agent can lean on parsed template data instead of guessing from raw file text.
You need the Shopify CLI on your $PATH first. Install it with npm install -g @shopify/cli, or through Homebrew with brew tap shopify/shopify followed by brew install shopify-cli. Run shopify theme language-server --help to confirm it responds. No CLI on the path means no language server, and the plugin does nothing.
The plugin comes from the Claude marketplace and ships the LSP integration only. There are no extra scripts or hooks bundled with it.
