doordash-playbook — Claude Code command: order records
Save DoorDash orders from your history as named playbooks, then list, inspect, or remove them. Useful when you want to keep repeat orders and their context in one file.
npx claude-code-templates@latest --command doordash/doordash-playbookWhat doordash-playbook does
The command manages ~/.claude/dd-cli/playbooks.json. It can list saved entries, create one from an order in your history, print its full contents, or delete it after asking for confirmation. To add an entry, Claude Code displays recent orders and asks you to choose one, then prompts for optional context words. It does not pick an order for you.
Each record stores the order ID, restaurant, item summary, baseline total, contexts, last-used date, and usage count. The command reads and rewrites the JSON file rather than appending text. dd-cli must be on your PATH, and you must be logged in; otherwise, the command stops. It only manages saved records. The separate doordash-order-playbooks skill handles order recall and ordering.
What it helps with
- save a history order under a chosen name
- list saved orders with their baseline totals
- inspect a record's items and context
- remove a record after confirming
Example prompts for the agent

Ask for optional context words (e.g. "post-gym, workout"). 4. Write the playbook entry: `order_uuid`, `restaurant`, `items_summary` (name/qty/price per item as shown by history or the last `cart show`), `baseline_total`, `tolerance_pct: 10`, `contexts`, `last_used: today`, `times_used: 0`. ### `rm <name>` Show the entry, confirm with the user, then delete it from the JSON. ### `show <name>` Pretty-print the full entry, including stored items and baseline, and when it was last used. ## Rules - Keep the JSON valid — read-modify-write the whole file, never append text. - `order_uuid` values come only from real `dd-cli order history` output. - This command only manages the state file; actual ordering/recall flows are handled by the `doordash-order-playbooks` skill (install it alongside). - If dd-cli is missing or logged out, say so and stop — don't fabricate history entries.
