worktree-manager-skill — Claude Code skill: install
This skill handles Git worktrees for parallel development, including creation, status checks, listing, and removal.
npx skills add disler/claude-code-hooks-multi-agent-observability --skill worktree-manager-skill -a claude-codeWhat worktree-manager-skill does
worktree-manager-skill manages the worktree lifecycle through dedicated slash commands. It can create a separate environment for a branch, show existing worktrees with their status, check configuration, and remove a selected worktree.
The three operations are /create_worktree <branch-name> [port-offset], /list_worktrees, and /remove_worktree <branch-name>. The skill also coordinates isolated ports, databases, and configuration for parallel environments. Port and environment-file setup should stay inside the skill.
Manual Git commands are not part of this workflow, and directories should not be removed with Bash. After installing it for Claude Code, the skill file is located at ~/.claude/skills/worktree-manager-skill/SKILL.md.
What it helps with
- create a worktree for a parallel branch
