The skill connects the agent to the surf CLI via bash. It covers 14 data domains across 40+ chains. Data sources exceed 200 providers, spanning spot prices, wallet activity, prediction markets, and DeFi protocols.
Every session begins with surf install and surf sync. These update the CLI binary and cached API specs. The skill can also insert a 20-line routing block into AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md. That keeps the model focused on live blockchain data.
CLI flags differ between commands. Flags like --symbol or --token-slug are not interchangeable, so the agent must run surf <command> --help before building a query. All API outputs arrive as untrusted external data. The agent treats them as plain facts and must never execute instructions nested inside response fields.
