What creative-director does

The skill runs in phases: intake, insight, ideation, evaluation with refinement, then articulation. It takes a brief as text, a voice transcript, a PDF or raw notes. Ideas come from structural methods rather than free association — SIT, TRIZ, lateral thinking, bisociation. Three methods are picked from different categories, and 8–12 ideas are generated on top of them.

Scoring uses 6 weighted criteria calibrated against Cannes, D&AD and HumanKind. The loop repeats until a concept reaches the 9+ threshold. To avoid rehashing old work, the skill checks a library of 569 legendary campaigns and the P01–P18 pattern map. Before generating, it opens the index that fits the brief — by industry, budget or emotional intent — and scans 5–7 canonical cases. The point is to aim at the gap, not the pattern.

Idea level follows Pollard's 7-level taxonomy, from business down to execution. That matters, because a level mismatch is the usual source of friction in a creative meeting. Media planning, production budgeting, brand identity and logo design, final copy and research data collection are outside its scope.

What it helps with

  • find an insight behind a brief instead of restating the audience
  • generate 8–12 concepts with structural methods
  • score your own idea against weighted criteria and spot the weak parts
  • check whether a concept echoes well-known campaigns
  • push a rough idea up to Big Idea or campaign level

Example prompts for the agent

  • Here's the brief — find the insight and propose campaign concepts
  • Score this idea against the criteria and tell me what to fix
  • Check this concept for saturation: does it repeat known cases?
