What sharing-results does

This skill renders an analyzed video as a single .html file anyone can open. No server, no internet, and no Watch Skill install on the receiving end. Frames are inlined as data URIs, so the page makes zero external requests.

The file holds a timeline of key-frame cards with timestamps, the transcript plus all on-screen text from OCR, and every question asked about the video so far with its answer, a confidence badge and the exact timestamped evidence. Order matters here: ask your questions first, then generate. The page pulls cached answers, so a viewer built before any questions contains only frames and transcript.

Run watch-skill viewer <video_id-or-source> [-o <path>]. For a bug ticket, run watch-skill extract bug-report first and attach the viewer link so reviewers get the evidence. The output is one .html, typically well under a few hundred KB, and RTL text renders correctly. The skill runs in Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.

What it helps with

  • hand a video analysis to teammates as one file
  • attach timestamped evidence to a bug ticket
  • build a page that opens with no server and no internet
  • keep answers about a video next to their transcript quotes
  • give a reviewer frames and on-screen text in one document

Example prompts for the agent

  • make a shareable page from this video analysis for my team
  • render an HTML viewer with the frames and transcript
  • export the findings so I can attach them to the ticket

Questions about sharing-results

How do I install sharing-results in Claude?

Run npx skills add oxbshw/watch-skill --skill sharing-results -a claude-code. The skill lands at ~/.claude/skills/sharing-results/SKILL.md.

What does sharing-results do?

It renders one offline HTML file from an analyzed video: a timeline of key frames, the transcript, on-screen text and every question asked with its answer and cited evidence.

Why are my questions missing from the page?

The viewer only includes cached answers. Ask your questions about the video before generating, otherwise the file carries just frames and transcript.

# Sharing results

An analysis that lives only in this chat dies with it. The viewer turns
an analyzed video into a single HTML file anyone can open — no server,
no internet, no Watch Skill install on the other end.

## Generate the page

```bash
watch-skill viewer <video_id-or-source> [-o <path>]
```

The file contains, self-contained (frames inlined as data URIs, zero
external requests):

- a timeline with key-frame cards and timestamps,
- the transcript and all on-screen text (OCR),
- every question asked about the video so far, with its answer,
  confidence badge, and the exact timestamped evidence cited.

Answer questions FIRST, then generate. The page includes cached answers,
so ask what the user cares about before rendering — a viewer generated
before any questions holds only frames and transcript.

## Hand-off patterns

- Bug ticket: run `watch-skill extract bug-report` first, then the
  viewer — the ticket gets the structured report, the viewer link gives
  reviewers the evidence.
- Review request: send the file itself (it is one .html, typically well
  under a few hundred KB); it opens in any browser, RTL text renders
  correctly, nothing phones home.
