What qa does

This skill runs an interactive bug-hunting workflow in your terminal. You describe an issue in plain words, and the assistant asks up to three quick questions about reproduction steps or intermittent behavior. It avoids protracted questioning. Once the problem is clear, it prepares the write-up.

While you talk, a background exploration agent scans project files and GLOSSARY.md to pick up domain terminology. It focuses on functional boundaries rather than fixing bugs on the spot. If a defect touches several independent subsystems, the assistant splits it into smaller tickets with clear blocker references to enable parallel work.

The agent submits tickets automatically using gh issue create and returns links immediately. File paths and line numbers are intentionally omitted so issues stay valid across future refactors. Without an authenticated gh installation in your environment, ticket submission will fail.

What it helps with

  • file GitHub issues directly from conversational bug reports
  • split complex defects into smaller tickets with dependency tracking
  • capture reproduction steps using repository domain terminology

Example prompts for the agent

  • Start a QA session for the checkout flow
  • Found a bug: clicking reset does not clear the search filters
  • Log the remaining glitches we discussed into separate issues
