What storekit does

Six Markdown pages ship with this skill. One is a framework-wide index; the rest cover Product, Transaction with its verification and history, SubscriptionInfo, StoreView and SubscriptionStoreView. The material targets in-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS 26 and later.

The lookup path is deliberate. Local .md files come first. Failing that, the agent checks other installed Apple skills, matching them by name, description or the SKILL.md frontmatter, then greps their files. Cheaper on context than pulling fresh docs over the wire.

When neither source has the page, the skill falls back to the sosumi.ai mirror, turning a doc path like /documentation/storekit/product into https://sosumi.ai/documentation/storekit/product. Offline, that last step goes nowhere. The skill runs in a forked context under the Explore agent, so the grepping stays out of your main thread.

What it helps with

  • check a transaction's signature and purchase history
  • read what state a subscription is in
  • build a product screen with StoreView
  • list available subscriptions using SubscriptionStoreView
  • look up the fields on the Product struct

Example prompts for the agent

  • Look up Transaction verification in the storekit skill and show me how restoring purchases works.
  • Pull the SubscriptionStoreView example out of the storekit skill.
  • Which fields does Product expose? Check the storekit reference first.

Questions about storekit

How do I install storekit in Claude Code?

Run npx skills add Prisma-Labs-Dev/apple-skills --skill storekit -a claude-code. The skill lands at ~/.claude/skills/storekit/SKILL.md.

What does the storekit skill do?

It gives the agent a StoreKit 2 reference for iOS 26 and later, covering in-app purchases, subscriptions, Product, Transaction, StoreView and SubscriptionStoreView.

Where does it look when a page is missing locally?

At other installed Apple skills and their local files. If the page is absent there too, it reads the sosumi.ai mirror using the path listed in storekit-overview.md.

## Fetching More Docs

1. Search this skill's local `.md` files first.
2. If the topic is not here, check the other installed Apple skills you have available by their names, descriptions, or `SKILL.md` frontmatter, then grep their local files. This is faster and uses less context than fetching new docs from the internet.
3. If no installed skill has the page, use the relevant documentation path from `storekit-overview.md` with the `sosumi.ai` Markdown mirror. For example, `/documentation/storekit/product` maps to `https://sosumi.ai/documentation/storekit/product`.
