What positioning-ideas does

The skill processes your product description and market context through a structured three-step workflow. First, it identifies the top 5 competitors in your space, noting their audience focus, primary angle, differentiators, and open gaps. Next, it generates 5 distinct positioning directions targeting unclaimed areas.

For every concept, the skill outputs a structured positioning statement, a strategic rationale, supporting messages, and underlying competitive advantages. Your input determines the depth: without concrete target personas and customer pain points, the generated angles remain generic.

What it helps with

  • identify gaps left open by direct competitors
  • write a clear product positioning statement
  • brainstorm differentiated value angles for a target segment
  • draft supporting messages based on real product advantages

Example prompts for the agent

  • Brainstorm positioning ideas for a privacy-focused analytics tool targeting indie developers
  • Use positioning-ideas for our B2B CRM designed specifically for freelance translators
  • Generate positioning statements and competitor analysis for an AI note-taking app
