polymarket-analyzer — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Scans Polymarket prediction markets for arbitrage, order book imbalances, and volume spikes. Useful for traders evaluating price inefficiencies without API keys.
npx skills add mjunaidca/polymarket-skills --skill polymarket-analyzer -a claude-codeWhat polymarket-analyzer does
This skill connects your coding agent to live Polymarket data via public Gamma and CLOB APIs. All requests run read-only and require zero authentication. The skill will never execute trades for you, so every position must be placed manually.
Execution relies on four Python scripts. The scripts/find_edges.py tool scans active markets where YES and NO contract sums diverge from parity after deducting taker fees. To inspect market depth for a specific token, scripts/analyze_orderbook.py takes a --token-id flag to evaluate bid-ask spreads, imbalance ratios, and liquidity thickness.
For market movement, scripts/momentum_scanner.py spots markets where 24-hour volume exceeds the 7-day average. The bundle also provides scripts/correlation_tracker.py, which grades portfolio risk on a 0 to 100 diversification scale. Keep in mind that 5-minute and 15-minute crypto markets incur dynamic taker fees, which the scripts account for in breakeven calculations.
What it helps with
- detect underpriced and overpriced contract pairs across active markets
- calculate order book spread and bid-ask depth for a target token
- screen prediction markets for 24-hour volume surges
- score portfolio diversification from 0 to 100 to catch clustered exposure
Example prompts for the agent
- Scan Polymarket for pricing discrepancies using scripts/find_edges.py
- Check the order book imbalance for --token-id <TOKEN_ID> with depth 10
- Run momentum_scanner.py to find recent volume surges above 10000
