What people-report does

people-report produces four report types: current headcount by team and level, turnover analysis broken down by voluntary and involuntary separations, diversity representation across hierarchy and function, and org health assessment via span of control and management layers. The skill works with uploaded CSV files or connected HRIS data — it needs employee ID, department, level, start and end dates, and demographics for diversity reports.

Reports include key metrics (attrition rate, average tenure, flight risk), detailed analysis with tables and charts, data-driven recommendations, and calculation methodology. Output is markdown with executive summary and justified conclusions — ready for leadership review.

What it helps with

  • Pull a headcount snapshot by team and level within a day
  • Analyze turnover trends and identify attrition risk in departments
  • Prepare diversity metrics for investor or compliance reporting
  • Assess management efficiency: span of control and organizational layers

Example prompts for the agent

  • /people-report headcount
  • /people-report attrition
  • /people-report diversity
