What context7 does

The skill identifies a library, selects a relevant ID, then requests material for a focused subject. It handles questions about API methods, imports, routing, hooks, ORM queries, and other library features.

Its workflow uses context7.sh: it searches for a library first, then requests documentation with a topic and either code or info mode. When the Context7 MCP server is unavailable, the script calls the REST API directly.

It requires curl 7.55 or later plus jq. Check those dependencies before installation. CONTEXT7_API_KEY is optional and raises request limits.
