monskill — Claude Code skill: a router for Monad work
A router skill that tells the agent which monskills file to load for a given Monad task.
npx skills add therealharpaljadeja/monskills --skill monskill -a claude-codeWhat monskill does
monskill is the entry point to the monskills set. It does little on its own: it reads your task and points the agent at the right file — scaffold/, concepts/, addresses/, wallet/, gas/, indexer/ and the rest. Inside is a task-to-skill table covering app builds from scratch, chain choice, smart contracts, wallets, gas, infra providers and event indexing.
Why bother? Model knowledge of Monad and Ethereum tends to be stale, and the set is split by topic. The skill pulls only what the task needs instead of the whole bundle. Every file stands alone, so you can start anywhere. For a brand-new project the author suggests starting with scaffold/.
Some skills in the set need setup first: wallet/ runs on Alchemy Agent Wallet sessions with npm install -g @alchemy/cli@latest plus alchemy auth, wallet-integration/ uses @getpara/cli and para login, indexer/ needs envio-cloud login. The monskills hook blocks those commands until the prerequisites are met, and it will not install a CLI or log in for you. Check your environment before letting the agent deploy anything.
What it helps with
- pick the right monskills file for a specific task
- build a Monad app from idea to production
- understand how Monad differs from Ethereum: async execution, block states, reserve balance
- add wallet and auth to a Next.js or Vite frontend
- set up indexing of smart contract events for an activity feed
Example prompts for the agent
- Help me build a Monad dApp from scratch — start with monskill and pull the skills you need
- Add wallet and email login to my Monad frontend
- I need a transaction feed for a contract — which monskills skill should I load?

Questions about monskill
How do I install monskill in Claude?
Run npx skills add therealharpaljadeja/monskills --skill monskill -a claude-code. The skill lands at ~/.claude/skills/monskill/SKILL.md.
What does monskill do?
It helps the agent choose the right skill from the monskills set for your Monad task. It writes no code itself — it routes to the right file.
Does it need anything set up beforehand?
Some skills in the set do. wallet/ needs npm install -g @alchemy/cli@latest and alchemy auth, wallet-integration/ needs @getpara/cli and para login, indexer/ needs envio-cloud login. The monskills hook blocks those commands until that is done.
