What md2wechat does

The skill runs the md2wechat CLI through Claude Code and other AI coding environments. It converts articles from Markdown, shows preview, uploads drafts to WeChat, generates images (covers, infographics, multi-image posts) via built-in prompts and external providers. It suggests titles, removes AI traces from text, publishes drafts to Zhihu, CSDN, Toutiao, and Tencent Cloud Developer Community through a browser.

API-mode preview and conversion require an MD2WECHAT_API_KEY. Draft upload and post creation need WeChat credentials. The skill operates through commands like convert, preview, inspect, create_image_post, generate_cover, title suggest — run md2wechat capabilities --json for the full list.

Themes, providers, and prompts are discovered via CLI (themes list, providers show, prompts list --kind image), not preset. That makes md2wechat doctor --json worth checking if upload or generation fails to start.
