marketing-automation — Claude Code skill: route marketing asks
The skill turns a vague marketing request into one operating mode, one discipline and one operator packet with an owner and proof.
npx skills add akillness/jeo-skills --skill marketing-automation -a claude-codeWhat marketing-automation does
Ask an agent for "marketing help" and you get channel soup: a dozen ideas, no next step. This skill classifies the request first — launch, conversion surface, lifecycle and retention, acquisition content, or measurement. Then it picks a single primary lane: CRO, copy and messaging, SEO and content, ads and analytics, or strategy and growth.
What comes back is one operator packet: the next brief, who owns it, which dependencies and approvals can block it, and what evidence backs the result. Support docs inside the skill cover operating modes, routing heuristics and the measurement handoff. It runs with Write, Read, WebSearch, WebFetch and Task.
The catch: this is a front door, not a specialist. Steam store-page and festival work gets routed to steam-store-launch-ops, backlog and milestone shaping to task-planning. If you already know you need one copy rewrite or a finished asset, skip the routing layer — it will only add a step.
What it helps with
- turn a broad "we need marketing" ask into one concrete next brief
- pick a single discipline instead of spreading across every channel
- name the owner, dependencies and approvals before execution starts
- spot which evidence is missing before committing to a lane
- hand off to a narrower skill once the request is clearly specialist
Example prompts for the agent
- help me with marketing for our SaaS — where do we start
- I need a launch plan for a new feature, break it into steps
- look at our pricing page conversion and tell me which brief we need

Questions about marketing-automation
How do I install marketing-automation in Claude?
Run npx skills add akillness/jeo-skills --skill marketing-automation -a claude-code. The skill lands at ~/.claude/skills/marketing-automation/SKILL.md.
What does marketing-automation do?
It classifies a marketing request into one operating mode and one primary lane, then produces a single operator packet with an owner, dependencies and proof.
When should I not use it?
Steam store-page launches go to steam-store-launch-ops and backlog planning to task-planning. For a single copy rewrite or a finished asset, the routing layer just adds overhead.
