This skill guides coding agents through wiring voice runtimes to WhatsApp Calling via Kapso. It defines how to validate request payloads with the X-Webhook-Signature header, handle connect events, and exchange SDP data. Supported voice runtimes include Pipecat or ElevenLabs Agents.
Kapso proxies Meta events while voice handling remains on your WebRTC server. Calling requires a dedicated Meta Cloud API phone number. Standard messaging sandboxes will not work.
For outbound dialing, the skill requires checking recipient permissions using the start_call action. It prevents automatic retries after unanswered requests to avoid unintended charges. Late lifecycle webhooks for audio recordings and transcripts are handled separately after the media session terminates.
