hyva-theme-list — Claude Code skill: find Hyvä themes in Magento 2
Walks a Magento 2 project and prints the path of every Hyvä theme it finds. Useful when the agent has to know which theme it is editing.
npx skills add hyva-themes/hyva-ai-tools --skill hyva-theme-list -a claude-codeWhat hyva-theme-list does
The skill runs scripts/list_hyva_themes.sh and prints one path per line, relative to the project root. No themes means empty output. Run it from the Magento project root, or the paths come out wrong.
Two places get scanned: app/design/frontend/ for themes built for the project, and vendor/ for installed packages. A folder counts as a Hyvä theme only when it holds both web/tailwind/package.json and theme.xml. A plain Magento theme without the Tailwind layout stays out of the list.
Other skills call this one by name when they need to locate themes. The output works line by line, or you can keep it in a variable and build a selection prompt. Handy on projects with several themes, where the agent keeps guessing which one to touch.
What it helps with
- find every Hyvä theme in a Magento 2 project
- tell a Hyvä theme apart from a regular Magento theme
- get a theme path to hand to another skill
- build a theme list before editing templates
Example prompts for the agent
- List the Hyvä themes in this project
- Find the paths of all available Hyvä themes
- Which Hyvä themes are installed under
vendor/?

Questions about hyva-theme-list
How do I install hyva-theme-list in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add hyva-themes/hyva-ai-tools --skill hyva-theme-list -a claude-code. The skill file lands at ~/.claude/skills/hyva-theme-list/SKILL.md.
What does hyva-theme-list do?
It locates the Hyvä themes in a Magento 2 project and prints their paths, one per line. A theme is recognised by web/tailwind/package.json plus theme.xml.
Why is my theme missing from the list?
Only app/design/frontend/ and vendor/ are searched. A folder without web/tailwind/package.json or theme.xml does not qualify as a Hyvä theme.
