groove-utilities-prime — Claude Code skill: use and install
This skill loads groove workflow context into the current session. Run it when a new coding session begins.
npx skills add andreadellacorte/groove --skill groove-utilities-prime -a claude-codeWhat groove-utilities-prime does
groove-utilities-prime runs the shell script bash .agents/skills/groove-utilities-prime/scripts/groove-utilities-prime.sh and sends that script’s output to the conversation. It is intended for the start of every session, so the agent receives the project’s groove workflow context before work begins.
The skill itself does not write files. The script updates its own cache, then its standard output is shown as-is in the conversation. In Claude Code, installation uses npx skills add, and the installed file is placed at ~/.claude/skills/groove-utilities-prime/SKILL.md. The launch fails when .agents/skills/groove-utilities-prime/scripts/groove-utilities-prime.sh is missing from the project.
What it helps with
- load groove context into a new session
- run the project’s prime shell script
- show workflow context to the agent
- let the script update its cache
Example prompts for the agent

- Run
bash .agents/skills/groove-utilities-prime/scripts/groove-utilities-prime.shand pass its output into the conversation.
