The db skill is an Oracle Database knowledge domain split into folders. Twenty categories sit inside it: db/sql-dev/, db/plsql/, db/performance/, db/security/, db/migrations/, db/vecdb/, db/agent/ and more. The agent reads one file from the routing table instead of the whole tree, so your context stays clean.
Multi-step flows are spelled out. A slow query goes explain-plan → wait-events → optimizer-stats → awr-reports. A migration starts at migration-assessment, moves through oracle-migration-tools, then a source-specific file. RAG on Oracle Database runs ai-profiles → vector-search → dbms-vector. The db/agent/ branch handles schema changes: schema-discovery first, then destructive-op-guards and idempotency-patterns.
Coverage includes Oracle Vector SDK through the Python SDK, REST and the PL/SQL package, plus SQLcl, Liquibase, ORDS, JDBC, node-oracledb, Java, .NET and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy and Django. Install runs through npx skills add, so Node.js and npx need to be on your machine or the command fails.
