daily-stock-analysis — Claude Code skill: setup and features
Automates stock analysis across US, Hong Kong, and Chinese markets using LLMs. It calculates entry targets, stop-losses, and delivers reports via chat webhooks.
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill daily-stock-analysis -a claude-codeWhat daily-stock-analysis does
The skill configures automated tracking for A-shares, Hong Kong equities, and US stocks alongside major indices like SPX or DJI. Market quotes come through AkShare, Tushare, or YFinance, while recent news is retrieved via Tavily, SerpAPI, or Brave search providers. The underlying model then drafts a concise action summary with specific target and stop-loss levels.
Workflows can run on scheduled GitHub Actions crons without dedicated servers. For local setups, execution relies on main.py and a Flask dashboard at web_app.py, which includes backtesting features and eleven built-in analytical strategies.
The pipeline halts without an active API key for at least one model provider like Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, or DeepSeek. You also need to populate the STOCKS variable and provide a delivery endpoint such as a Telegram bot token or Discord webhook.
What it helps with
- calculate buy targets and stop-loss levels for watched equities
- dispatch scheduled portfolio updates to Telegram or Discord
- aggregate price quotes and recent news for US and Chinese markets
- backtest multi-turn trading strategies via the local web dashboard
Example prompts for the agent

- Analyze stock 600519 using the moving average crossover strategy
- Configure GitHub Actions to run the daily stock analysis workflow on weekdays
