What cross-conversation-project-manager does

This skill turns the agent into a project manager with persistent memory. It creates and maintains files under /mnt/user-data/outputs/projects/, tracking the project name, start date, conversations involved, tasks split into completed, in-progress and pending, decisions made, blockers, resources, links to related conversations and a last-updated timestamp.

Updates fire on their own when you mention the project name in a conversation. From there the skill builds a status report covering work from several chats and reminds you about commitments and follow-ups. State survives weeks and months, so a project does not reset every session.

Check the /mnt/user-data/outputs/projects/ path before installing. If that directory is not reachable in your setup, there is nowhere to write project files, and that is the first thing to fix.

What it helps with

  • pull a project status out of several chats from the past week
  • keep decisions from getting lost when you return to a task
  • list blockers and open questions in one place
  • get reminded about commitments and follow-ups
  • group tasks by status in a single file

Example prompts for the agent

  • update the Landing Redesign project, add the layout task
  • generate a status report for this project across recent conversations
  • what blockers do we have on the API v2 project?
