What bouncer-feed-filter does

This skill equips your coding agent with instructions for developing the Bouncer extension. The project targets Twitter and X feeds. It uses a MutationObserver to detect incoming posts and conceals unwanted content matching your criteria.

Instructions cover building the extension via npm, navigating the TypeScript codebase, and wiring AI backends. Bouncer can run local models in the browser via WebGPU with Qwen weights, or forward classification requests to OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, or OpenRouter. Without WebGPU support in your browser, on-device models will fail to run. Authentication keys stay in chrome.storage.local rather than hardcoded configs.

The skill also demonstrates writing a custom ModelProvider implementation to connect new API endpoints to the filter pipeline.

What it helps with

  • build the Bouncer extension from source using npm
  • configure on-device post classification through WebGPU
  • connect OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic API keys to the extension
  • set up real-time post filtering for Twitter and X feeds
  • implement a custom ModelProvider class for a new backend

Example prompts for the agent

  • Help me build the Bouncer extension and start dev watch mode.
  • Configure Bouncer to filter engagement bait on Twitter using Claude Haiku 4.5.
  • Show me how to register a custom model provider class in Bouncer.
