The skill turns a normal chat with your agent into a session with RDS Copilot. You describe the problem in plain Chinese or English, the agent recognises it as RDS-related and runs aliyun rdsai chat-messages itself. Answers come back from the RdsAi OpenAPI in real time. Paste an error message and the agent will explain it and suggest a fix.
The setup is Alibaba Cloud CLI plus the RdsAi OpenAPI. Before any call, the agent has to clear three checks: CLI version 3.3.3 or higher, plugin auto-install switched on, and a valid credential profile. The rdsai plugin installs with aliyun plugin install --names rdsai. Region defaults to cn-hangzhou unless you name another one.
Credentials are where this usually stalls. With no working profile the agent stops before the API call and asks you to run aliyun configure. It will not ask you to paste secrets into environment variables, so set the profile up before an incident, not during one.
