What sentry does

The plugin gives Claude access to Sentry's full skill library: SDK setup wizards for any platform, production debugging workflows via the Sentry MCP server, code review with Sentry context, and monitoring setup. A few router skills are always visible; the rest load on demand and stay hidden, so they don't clutter the model's context window.

You'll need access to your Sentry environment through the MCP server at mcp.sentry.dev. The plugin includes the entire library at once. If you only need specific skills, the others won't get in your way—they just won't take up space until Claude uses them.

What it helps with

  • find a production error by stack trace and fingerprint
  • set up Sentry SDK for a new project
  • figure out why users are seeing an error in production
  • review code with context from Sentry
  • configure alerts and filters for error monitoring

Example prompts for the agent

  • Show me the latest 10 errors for this app
  • Help me set up the Sentry SDK for Node.js
  • Walk me through this stack trace and suggest a fix

monitoring configuration.

> [!IMPORTANT]
> This repository is generated.
> It is built from [getsentry/sentry-for-ai](https://github.com/getsentry/sentry-for-ai)
> and includes every skill in that library.
> Do not edit files here; make changes in that repository and they will be rebuilt into
> this one.

## Install

Inside Claude Code, run:

```
/plugins install sentry@claude-plugins-official
```

Or from your terminal:

```bash
claude plugin install sentry@claude-plugins-official
```

## What’s included

- The full Sentry skill library (SDK setup wizards, debugging and code-review workflows,
  feature setup).
- The hosted [Sentry MCP server](https://mcp.sentry.dev) for querying your Sentry
  environment.

A few router skills are always available; the rest are hidden behind them with
`disable-model-invocation` and load on demand, so they do not crowd the model’s context.
