karma — Claude Code plugin for Web3 grants and projects
A plugin that handles grants, projects and funding programs on the Karma protocol. You talk to the agent; the chain work happens behind the API.
/plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community
/plugin install karma@claude-communityWhat karma does
Five skills ship in the box. setup-agent registers you and stores an API key, project-manager builds projects, grants, milestones and updates, funding-program-manager runs a program with its reviewers, applications and payouts, find-funding-opportunities searches the Karma Funding Map for grants, hackathons, bounties, accelerators, VC funds and RFPs, and simocracy-milestone-evaluations has a program's Simocracy Sims score delivered milestones.
Every on-chain action goes through the Karma Agent API. A server-side wallet signs and submits, so there is no gas to pay and no browser wallet to connect. Each action lands as an EAS attestation and shows up on karmahq.xyz. Any client that follows the Skills Standard can run these skills.
Run setup-agent first. Without the API key the other skills have nothing to authenticate with. Simocracy verdicts stay as private drafts until a reviewer approves them, which is worth knowing before you expect a public evaluation.
What it helps with
- search live grant programs for a project
- set up a project with milestones
- post a progress update after shipping
- list the reviewers on a funding program
- review applications waiting for a decision
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a project called "My DeFi App" on Optimism
- Find active grant programs on Ethereum
- Post an update on my project — we shipped the MVP

Questions about karma
How do I install karma in Claude Code?
Add the marketplace with /plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community, then install the plugin: /plugin install karma@claude-community.
What does karma do?
It manages projects, grants and funding programs in the Karma ecosystem through conversation: finding opportunities, tracking milestones, posting updates, handling reviewers and applications.
Do I need a wallet or gas?
No. A server-side wallet signs and submits through the Karma Agent API, with gas sponsored via account abstraction. You do need an API key, which the setup-agent skill obtains.

# Karma Skills Agent skills for the Karma ecosystem — find funding opportunities, create and manage projects, administer funding programs, and post milestones and updates. ## Quick Start ```bash npx skills add show-karma/skills ``` Then ask your agent: > Create a project called "My DeFi App" on Optimism > Find active grant programs on Ethereum > Post an update on my project — we shipped the MVP > List reviewers for Optimism Audit Grants Season 8 > Show pending applications for my grant program > Add a reviewer to my program ## What Are Skills? Skills are reusable instruction sets that encode domain expertise into repeatable workflows. Each skill teaches an AI agent how to perform a specific task within the Karma ecosystem. Skills work with any compatible agent client, including Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and others. The `SKILL.md` file contains YAML frontmatter (name, description, version, tags) followed by the instructions agents will follow. ## Available Skills | Skill | Description | |-------|-------------| | [`setup-agent`](skills/setup-agent/) | Register and get your API key — quick start (no account), email login, or manual. Saves key to shell config. | | [`project-manager`](skills/project-manager/) | Create and manage projects, grants, milestones, and updates on-chain. Handles all attestation actions in one skill. | | [`funding-program-manager`](skills/funding-program-manager/) | Administer a funding program — manage reviewers, applications, milestones, payouts, grant agreements, and AI evaluations. | | [`find-funding-opportunities`](skills/find-funding-opportunities/) | Search the Karma Funding Map for grants, hackathons, bounties, accelerators, VC funds, and RFPs. | | [`simocracy-milestone-evaluations`](skills/simocracy-milestone-evaluations/) | Let a program's Simocracy Sims evaluate an application's delivered milestones — name the program and project or pass ids; one GET for the context (answers, completed milestones, council, drafts and reviewer feedback), one POST per verdict; Karma keeps it as a private draft until a reviewer approves it, then posts it to Simocracy as the Sim. | All on-chain skills use the Karma Agent API with a server-side wallet. No gas fees, no browser wallet needed. ## How It Works ``` You ↓ AI Agent (picks the right skill) ↓ Karma API (encodes attestation) ↓ Server Wallet (signs + submits tx, gasless) ↓ Blockchain (EAS attestation created) ↓ karmahq.xyz (visible on the web) ``` - **No gas fees** — transactions are sponsored via account abstraction - **No browser wallet** — your agent gets a server-side wallet - **On-chain** — every action creates a verifiable [EAS attestation](https://docs.attest.sh/) - **Client-agnostic** — works with any AI agent that supports the Skills Standard ## Skill Format Each skill is a directory under `skills/` containing: ``` skills/my-skill/ ├── SKILL.md # Skill definition (required) ├── references/ # Reference documents (optional) └── assets/ # Templates, scripts (optional) ``` ## Karma Ecosystem [Karma](https://www.karmahq.xyz) helps projects build reputation and find funding opportunities. Karma's grants platform can be used by organizations to run their grant program (application intake, funds disbursal, milestone and metrics tracking). Key areas: - **Project Profile** — Share progress updates, show traction and get funding - **Funding Map** — Discover funding opportunities for your project - **Grants Management** — Grant operators can administer grants efficiently ## License MIT — see [LICENSE](LICENSE).
