clickup — Claude plugin: your ClickUp tasks in chat
Connects ClickUp to Claude so you can work with tasks and projects without switching to the browser.
Open on GitHubWhat clickup does
The plugin turns Claude into a workspace for ClickUp. You ask the agent to check tasks, sort through a list, or update a status, and it does that through a connection to your account.
Inside is a ClickUp integration for Claude and Claude. It lives in the openai/plugins repository under the MIT license. ClickUp itself is the author, so the connection comes from the vendor rather than a third party.
One thing to know: without signing in to ClickUp the plugin shows nothing. Set that up first, or the agent simply won't see your tasks.
What it helps with
- check your ClickUp tasks from the chat
- update a task status without opening a browser
- find a list or project by name
- pull a summary of tasks for a report
- add a new task straight from Claude
Example prompts for the agent
- show my open tasks in ClickUp
- move the task "Fix login" to Done
- create a task in the Backlog list: check the build
