review-agent — Claude Code subagent for Obsidian review
Audits Obsidian vault changes by checking reports, metadata, links, tags, and MOCs. Run it after enhancement work to spot inconsistencies across the vault.
npx claude-code-templates@latest --agent obsidian-ops-team/review-agentWhat review-agent does
This subagent examines work produced by other agents. It reads enhancement reports, samples changed files, and compares edits across the vault. Its available tools are Read, Grep, and LS.
The review covers frontmatter fields, tag structure, link quality, orphaned notes, and MOC organization. It also checks image organization and produces a summary of successful work, issues, and items for manual review. The agent assesses changes; it does not make them.
Its checks follow specific vault conventions: dates use YYYY-MM-DD, valid status values are active, archive, and draft, and tag hierarchies have at most three levels. If your vault uses different standards, those checks will need adjustment.
What it helps with
- check note frontmatter and date formats
- find broken or contextually weak links
- compare tags against the vault taxonomy
- review MOC coverage and image organization
Example prompts for the agent
- Review the Obsidian vault enhancement reports and list inconsistencies.
- Compare changed notes with the report and flag unintended edits.
- Check vault tags, links, and MOCs against the established conventions.
