session-wrap — Claude Code skill: wrap up and commit
Walks through finished work before you close a session: what to commit, what to document, what is still open.
npx skills add ai-native-camp/camp-2 --skill session-wrap -a claude-codeWhat session-wrap does
The skill runs a wrap-up at the end of a working session. It starts with git status --short and a diff stat, then hands a session summary to four subagents in parallel: doc-updater checks whether CLAUDE.md and context.md need edits, automation-scout looks for repeated patterns worth automating, learning-extractor pulls out takeaways and mistakes, and followup-suggester lists unfinished tasks and next-session priorities.
A second phase runs after the first one finishes. duplicate-checker compares the proposals against what the project already has and marks each as skip, merge or approve. Everything lands in one report, and AskUserQuestion lets you pick actions: commit, update CLAUDE.md, generate an automation, or end with nothing. Only what you tick gets executed.
Arguments change the flow. Call it with no arguments and you get the full interactive walkthrough; pass a message and it is used as the commit message, with the commit made straight away. The skill depends on subagents named doc-updater, automation-scout, learning-extractor, followup-suggester and duplicate-checker — if your setup lacks them, the parallel phase has nothing to run. For a two-line fix the whole analysis is overkill.
What it helps with
- capture session learnings before context is lost
- decide which changed files are worth committing
- update
CLAUDE.mdandcontext.mdafter the work is done - spot repeated actions and turn them into automation
- collect unfinished tasks for the next session
Example prompts for the agent
- wrap up session
- end session and show me what to commit
- /wrap

Questions about session-wrap
How do I install session-wrap in Claude?
Run npx skills add ai-native-camp/camp-2 --skill session-wrap -a claude-code. The skill file then sits at ~/.claude/skills/session-wrap/SKILL.md.
What does session-wrap do?
It analyses a finished session: four subagents look at docs, automation, learnings and follow-up tasks in parallel, a fifth checks the proposals for duplicates, and then you choose which actions to run.
What does the skill need to work?
It relies on the subagents doc-updater, automation-scout, learning-extractor, followup-suggester and duplicate-checker; without them the parallel analysis phase will not run.
