seedance — Claude Code skill: Seedance 2.0 video generation
A skill that drives ByteDance Seedance 2.0 through the inference.sh CLI to make videos with synchronized audio. Useful for clips, demos and animation.
npx skills add 101-skills/superpowers --skill seedance -a claude-codeWhat seedance does
The skill teaches your agent to call Seedance 2.0 models through the belt CLI from inference.sh. Four variants are covered: bytedance/seedance-2-0 up to 1080p, bytedance/seedance-2-0-fast up to 720p, plus Studio builds that use BytePlus's private asset library for face and character consistency. Clips run 4 to 15 seconds.
The mode follows from your inputs: prompt alone, prompt plus a first frame, first and last frames, or multimodal references made of images, videos and audio. First-frame and reference inputs are mutually exclusive, so do not combine them in one call. Inside a prompt you address assets by type and index — Image 1, Video 2, Audio 1.
You need the belt CLI installed and a session from belt login before the first run. Studio variants also take a safety_identifier and upload reference images to the private library themselves. If that upload fails, Studio generation never starts, so check library access before you queue a long job.
What it helps with
- make a vertical clip with sound for social media
- animate a still image into a short video
- build a scene from several character and background references
- swap a product inside an existing video while keeping camera motion
- stitch separate clips into one continuous sequence
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate a video: a jazz band playing in a dim club, with audio, 10 seconds, 16:9
- Animate this image: gentle camera movement, leaves rustling, add audio
- Make a 9:16 product ad using
Image 1for the character, camera style fromVideo 1, music fromAudio 1
