sap-browser-automation — Claude Code skill: SAP UI
This skill lets an agent inspect and operate authenticated SAP pages through a browser, Edge CDP, or Playwright. It covers SSO reuse, target checks, and screenshots.
npx skills add secondsky/sap-skills --skill sap-browser-automation -a claude-codeWhat sap-browser-automation does
The skill routes SAP web work through an in-app Browser, an isolated Microsoft Edge session over loopback CDP, or an existing Playwright client. Before interaction, it checks the tenant, host, path, page title, authenticated DOM, and selected target. Read-only behavior is the default.
Its guidance covers SSO bootstrap, approved Edge profile reuse, scoped browser state, screenshots, cleanup, and recovery after startup failures. The package includes scripts/edge-profile.ps1 and scripts/cdp-agent.mjs; the latter needs Node.js 22 or newer and runs without npm packages. That Node.js requirement is a hard limit for this script. Reusing a normal Edge profile also requires explicit permission.
What it helps with
- verify the SAP tenant and authenticated page before acting
- start an isolated Edge session with loopback CDP
- reuse an approved Edge profile safely
- transfer scoped browser state to Playwright
- capture evidence and recover from browser bootstrap failures
Example prompts for the agent
- Check the SAP login, confirm the target host, and inspect the correct page before reading data.
- Start an isolated Edge session with
scripts/edge-profile.ps1, then attach to it over CDP. - Use
scripts/cdp-agent.mjsto find the SAP target, verify its title, and take a screenshot.
