What prompt-library does

The library groups prompts by role and task. It includes patterns for reviewing code, tracking down bugs, writing tests, documenting APIs, and examining complexity, performance, or security. There are also templates for brainstorming and moving code between languages. Choose one, then give the agent the relevant code and context.

A separate section covers prompt techniques, including example-based instructions, persona setup, and structured output. The testing template expects you to name the framework and its conventions, so supply those along with the code. This skill provides prompt patterns; it does not run the checks for you.

What it helps with

  • prepare a focused code review request
  • outline a prompt for debugging a failure
  • draft test-generation instructions for a chosen framework
  • ask for a performance analysis with ranked findings
  • guide a code migration between languages

Example prompts for the agent

  • Review this code for bugs and explain which changes you recommend.
  • Write tests for this code using Jest conventions.
  • Analyze this code’s performance and rank the findings by impact.
