What polymarket-copy-trading-bot does

This bot tracks a target wallet on Polymarket using REST polling every two seconds or a real-time WebSocket connection. Once the target buys an outcome, the bot sizes your order based on POSITION_MULTIPLIER and applies minimum and maximum bounds. It ignores target SELL events by default. Orders submit directly through the CLOB client as FOK, FAK, or LIMIT.

Risk controls enforce maximum notional caps per market and per session. You need Node.js 18 or higher, and the CLOB SDK specifically requires ethers v5. Without POL tokens in an EOA wallet, initial token allowance approvals will fail. Authentication works with EOA keys, Poly Proxy, or Poly Polymorphic modes.

What it helps with

  • mirror BUY trades from target Polymarket wallets in real time
  • submit automated CLOB orders as FOK, FAK, or LIMIT
  • cap trading exposure per session and individual market
  • create and test Polymarket trading API credentials

Example prompts for the agent

  • Help me configure the .env file for polymarket-copy-trading-bot with EOA authentication
  • Run npm run generate-api-creds to set up Polymarket trading credentials
  • Adjust position sizing and session risk limits in the trading config
