What tour does

This skill activates when a user asks about available capabilities, wants help getting started, or asks for a tour. Its response outlines coding, debugging, refactoring, tests, repository exploration, and implementation planning.

The template also covers cross-session learning stored in SQLite or PostgreSQL, recalling earlier work, and creating handoff snapshots. For larger tasks, it points to the explorer, kraken, and debug sub-agents.

The overview assumes persistent memory and those sub-agents are part of the setup. Check that this matches your agent configuration before relying on the guidance. It ends by inviting the user to begin a concrete task.

What it helps with

  • introduce the agent’s capabilities to a new user
  • guide a user through starting work in a repository
  • surface options for resuming work across sessions
  • route exploration or debugging work to a sub-agent

Example prompts for the agent

  • What can you do in this project?
  • Help me get started.
  • Show me around the available features.

How to install tour

1Skills CLI (Vercel)

npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill tour -a claude-code

2Manually: put the files in place

~/.claude/skills/tour/SKILL.md

Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/tour/

Questions about tour

How do I install tour in Claude Code?

Run npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill tour -a claude-code, then run npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill tour -a claude-code again. The skill file is at ~/.claude/skills/tour/SKILL.md.

What does tour do?

It detects questions about the agent’s capabilities or getting started, then returns a practical orientation. The response covers development work, cross-session memory, code exploration, and planning.

Which sub-agents does tour mention?

Its overview lists explorer for mapping a codebase, kraken for a TDD workflow, and debug for investigating issues systematically.

# Tour: What Can I Do?

Friendly onboarding when users ask about capabilities.

## Triggers

Activate when user says things like:
- "what can you do?"
- "what can I do?"
- "help me get started"
- "show me around"
- "what features are available?"
- "how does this work?"

## Response Template

Give a warm, practical overview:

## What I Can Do

I'm Claude Code with persistent memory and specialized capabilities. Here's what makes me useful:

### Code & Development
- **Write & edit code** - any language, any framework
- **Debug issues** - trace errors, find root causes
- **Refactor** - improve structure without breaking things
- **Test** - write and run tests, validate changes

### Memory & Context
- **Remember across sessions** - learnings persist to SQLite/PostgreSQL
- **Recall past work** - search what worked/failed before
- **Handoffs** - create snapshots to resume complex work

### Research & Planning
- **Explore codebases** - understand unfamiliar projects fast
- **Plan implementations** - architect before coding
- **Search the web** - find docs, solutions, best practices

### Specialized Agents
I can spawn sub-agents for complex tasks:
- `explorer` - map codebase structure
- `kraken` - implement with TDD workflow
- `debug` - investigate issues systematically

### Quick Tips
- Ask naturally - I'll figure out which tools to use
- Say "create a handoff" before ending sessions
- Say "what worked for X before?" to recall past learnings

**What would you like to work on?**

---

## Style Notes

- Be welcoming, not overwhelming
- Focus on practical value, not feature lists
- End with an invitation to start working
- Don't list every skill - highlight categories
