Identifies underserved market niches and unmet buyer demand in e-commerce. Helps sellers pinpoint competitor blind spots and missing product features.
npx skills add nexscope-ai/eCommerce-Skills --skill market-gap-analysis -a claude-codeWhat market-gap-analysis does
The skill uncovers underserved market gaps across e-commerce channels. It scans competitor blind spots, parses product review complaints, and evaluates search demand against available inventory. In addition, it flags price bands that lack quality listings and maps feature gaps. Supported platforms include Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Etsy, eBay, and BigCommerce.
Execution follows a four-step flow. The skill first logs product details, target platform, and goals. Next, it sends a single multiple-choice question set. You can reply with compact codes like "1b 2c 3a". Analysis begins right after.
The final report starts with findings and prioritized actions. Whenever metrics rely on incomplete input, the skill tags them with a ⚠️ warning symbol, which alerts you to verify estimates before investing budget.
What it helps with
- Extract customer pain points and product flaws from competitor reviews
- Identify price ranges lacking quality alternatives on target marketplaces
- Map missing features across competing product listings
- Compare search demand volume against existing catalog supply
Example prompts for the agent
