The skill turns Claude Code into an interactive tutor for Medusa development. Instead of passively browsing docs, you build a brands feature from scratch. You write custom modules and connect them with workflows while the agent explains the architectural reasoning.
The training is split into 3 lessons lasting 45 to 60 minutes each, taking 2 to 3 hours in total. At every checkpoint, the agent reviews your code and tests endpoints with cURL. When questions exceed local instructions, it queries the MedusaDocs MCP server.
You need Node.js and an initialized Medusa project before you start. Jumping straight in without local infrastructure will fail immediately. Sessions can pause at any step and resume later.
