What interface-validate does

This skill checks a 1C command-interface XML file for structural issues. It inspects the root element, allowed sections, section order, command references, and duplicates. The result helps catch malformed interface data before you continue working with the configuration.

Pass the required CIPath argument to select the file or directory to inspect. -Detailed enables successful checks in the output, -MaxErrors sets the error limit, and -OutFile writes the result as UTF-8 with BOM. The skill uses Bash, Read, and Glob, while the validation itself runs through interface-validate.ps1 in PowerShell.

Validation cannot start without a path to CommandInterface.xml or its containing directory.

What it helps with

  • check the structure of CommandInterface.xml
  • find duplicate interface commands
  • verify XML section order
  • detect invalid command references
  • cap the number of reported errors

Example prompts for the agent

  • Check Subsystems/Sales/Ext/CommandInterface.xml and report its errors.
  • Run a detailed check of CommandInterface.xml with -Detailed.
  • Validate Subsystems/Sales and stop after -MaxErrors 10 errors.
